Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This position offers potential immigration support for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $38.50 hourly / 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time

Responsibilities

• Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Assign projects to subordinates related to employment and employee relations
• Coordinate HR department activities to meet organizational goals
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
• Review HR projects for compliance with laws and regulations
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies and benefit programs
• Mediating labour disputes and grievances
• Plan and implement recruitment strategies
• Research and prepare job classifications and salary scales
• Administer benefit programs and other HR initiatives
• Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
• Oversee analysis of employee data
• Develop communication strategies
• Negotiate collective agreements for employers or workers
• Oversee payroll administration
• Recruit and hire staff
• Evaluate work environments to prevent disease or injury

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
• Languages: English
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
