Job Details

• Location: La Pocatière, QC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $18.00 to $20.50 per hour (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate special events
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
• Prepare meals for customers with dietary restrictions
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
• Manage inventory and maintain records of food and supplies
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Recruit and hire staff
• Oversee kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
• Certificates: Cook Trade Certification

Work Environment

• Rural area
• Cafeteria setting
• Willingness to relocate required
• May require working under pressure and handling heavy loads
