• Location: St. Andrews, MB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.00 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Vacancies: 10 vacancies

Overview

This position requires planning and adjusting routes based on changing conditions. Candidates will operate trucks, load and unload goods, and ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS and navigation devices.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Operate trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect vehicle condition and perform necessary maintenance.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with central dispatch as needed.
• Maintain records of cargo information, service hours, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo through tarping.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is an asset.

Certificates and Licences

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)

• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Financial Benefits: Mileage paid
