Are you a passionate Cook looking for an exciting opportunity in Canada? Our client is offering positions for skilled cooks and provides immigration support for qualified applicants, including those who may require a work permit. This role is ideal for both local and international applicants!
Job Details
- Location: 207-105 Crowfoot Cresent NW, Calgary, AB
- Work Location: On site
- Salary: $17.50 to $18.50 hourly (To be negotiated)
- Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Vacancies: 1 vacancy
- Overtime: Required
About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Ensuring dishes are prepared for customers with dietary restrictions
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas
- Training kitchen staff in food preparation and handling
- Ordering supplies and equipment
- Supervising kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintaining inventory and records of food and supplies
- Cleaning kitchen and work areas
- Recruiting and hiring staff
- Managing kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years
- Languages: Proficiency in English required
