Our client is seeking farm hands for the harvesting season. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Frelighsburg, QC
• Salary: $16.10 per hour
• Employment Type: Seasonal, Full-time
• Work setting: On site with room and board provided

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers
• Hoe between rows
• Clean crops
• Collect brush and debris
• Cut agricultural crops
• Prepare harvested produce for market
• Monitor growth conditions
• Pack fruits and vegetables
• Sort and grade crops
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Load and unload farm produce

Requirements

• Experience: No degree required, will train
• Language: English
• Work Conditions: Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment
• Equipment Experience: Vegetable harvesters, hand tools
