Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $23.50 hourly for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Working Hours: Morning, Day, Evening

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English

Requirements

• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word
• Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, ability to work under pressure
• Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication, flexibility, reliability, adaptability
