Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations. We welcome international applicants, as immigration support is potentially available for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: Hamilton, ON
• Work Location: On Site
• Salary: $18.60 per hour / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Language: English
