Job Details

• Location: Grande Prairie, AB
• Work Setting: On site at a bake shop with relocation costs covered by the employer.
• Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 37.5 hours per week.
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time.
• Work Schedule: Early morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, and overtime available.

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: An asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Bake mixed dough and batters.
• Prepare special orders and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• Operate machinery and manage inventory.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Manage staff, assign duties, and plan daily operations.

• Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and good handling of heavy loads.
• Physically demanding with repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
