Our client is seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver – Private Home to join their household. We welcome applications from candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants.

• Work location: On site
• Salary: $19.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Shift

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
• Cook

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year working with children

Work Environment

• Non-smoking environment
• Work in employer’s/client’s home
