Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Truck Driver for permanent, full-time employment. We are open to applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants.

• Salary: $29.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Conditions: Various shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload goods.
• Inspect vehicle conditions and perform preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo through proper tarping.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Will train.
• Certificates & Licenses: AZ class license.

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
• Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
