Our client is seeking a Diesel Engine Mechanic for a permanent, full-time position with potential immigration support for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Abbotsford, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $45.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment
• Order parts and maintain inventory
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Perform maintenance work including cleaning and lubricating
• Repair heavy trucks and service attachments
• Verify and repair emission control systems
• Assist process operators in mineral ore and metal processing
• Conduct routine maintenance

Qualifications

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
