Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $36.50 hourly (40 to 50 hours per week)
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

• Mountain driving expertise
• Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle and equipment condition
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption
• Ensure safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
• Certificates: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
