Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5 years or more.

Work Setting: Plastic products manufacturers and rubber products manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers operating processing machines and fabricating plastic or rubber parts.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate activities with other work units.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Train staff/workers on job duties, safety procedures, and policies.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare production reports and maintain equipment.
• Service and install equipment, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.

Supervision

• Supervising 3-4 people.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

• Forklift Operator Certification.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• MS Excel
• MS Outlook
• MS Windows
• MS Word
• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
