Job Details

• Salary: $24.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
• Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Serve meal trays and assist with feeding
• Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
• Maintain patients’ rooms by making beds
• Supervise exercise routines for patients
• Bathe, dress, and groom patients
• Transport patients using a wheelchair or stretcher
• Collect specimens as needed
• Administer first aid in emergencies

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: College or equivalent experience (1 to 2 years)
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
• Personal Suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Excellent communication, Flexibility, and Patience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
• Physical demands: standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, walking, and bending
• Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
