Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle equipment
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices
• Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment
• Perform general clerical duties including processing files and paperwork
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Take patients’ general medical and ophthalmic history
• Order supplies and equipment
• Organize and maintain inventory

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and reliability
• Team player
