Our client is seeking a Truck Driver to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. Visa sponsorship may be considered, and we welcome applications from international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: 22925 – 112 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 2M4
• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 40 to 60 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Ensure professionalism in customer service
• Arrange travel and related itineraries
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, and brakes
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, service hours, and fuel consumption

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Will train

Credentials

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Attention to detail
• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding tasks
• Ability to manage a large workload

Weight Handling

• More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
