Our client is seeking a Child Caregiver in a private home setting. We welcome applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, as visa support may be offered.

Job Details

• Location: Camrose, AB
• Workplace Information: On site
• Salary: $28.48 per hour, for 32 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Morning

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• Discipline children according to methods requested by parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
