Position: Sorter – Recyclable Materials

Location: 434137 Ab-783, Okotoks, AB, T1S 1B6

Type: Permanent, Full-Time Employment (35 to 40 hours per week)

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Outdoors

Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Will train – no prior experience needed.

Work Conditions

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Tasks are repetitive and can involve handling heavy loads.
• Physically demanding with potential exposure to work under pressure.
