Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Etobicoke, ON. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: 1701 Martin Grove Road, Etobicoke, ON M9V 4N4
• Workplace information: On site
• Salary: $17.20 hourly / 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervise 3-4 staff members including food service counter attendants and food preparers

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment
• Work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; physically demanding

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Language: English
