Job Responsibilities
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE?
- Run group and individual sessions for music therapy and recreational programs
- Complete all documentation as per guidelines, including session plans, assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports
- Learn songs and interventions to use with clients on your caseload
- Build proficiency with voice, guitar, and piano
- Seek out supervision and/or coaching as required for clinical questions
Qualifications
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
- MTA or in the process of obtaining certification
- CAMT member in good standing
- COVID-19 vaccination and annual flu shot (as per long-term care requirements)
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to relocate to the Simcoe County region
