Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Welder for a full-time, permanent position. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates.
Location
Rocky View, AB
Salary
$38.00 per hour for a 40 hours per week schedule.
Work Environment
On-site role in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD)
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
- Determine weldability of materials
Qualifications
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years in welding
