Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for a permanent full-time position. This role provides an excellent opportunity for international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, as immigration support is potentially available.

Job Details

• Location: Dawson Creek, BC
• Salary: $21.00 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent full-time
• Work hours: Day shifts
• Vacancies: 2 positions available

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
• Certificates: Food Safety Certificate
