Our client is hiring for the position of Instructor – Language School. We welcome candidates with varying backgrounds, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Work Environment: On-site
• Salary: $38.80 per hour / 34 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in work sessions.
• Support and supervise teaching assistants.
• Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses.
• Administer and mark tests to evaluate students’ progress.
• Advise students on program curricula and career decisions.
• Prepare reports and documentation.
• Participate in faculty committees related to budgets, curriculum, staffing, and course requirements.
• Deliver lectures and presentations.
• Lead discussion groups and seminars.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is an asset.
