Overview

Our client is seeking a Tea Room Manager to oversee daily operations. This position is open to candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be available for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff and set work schedules
• Supervise and train staff
• Balance cash and complete related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints
• Manage events

Experience and Skills

• Education: College diploma or certificate (1-2 years program)
• Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Point of Sale systems
