Job Overview

Our client is looking for a painter. This is a full-time permanent position based in Cambridge, ON. The role involves working outdoors, at heights, and in environments with various odours.

Salary: $36.25/hour for 35 to 40 hours per week

Work Conditions: Flexible shifts with physical demands including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English required
