Our client is looking for a Food Service Supervisor who will play a crucial role in managing operations within a food service establishment. Immigration support may be provided for qualified candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Kelowna, BC
• Salary: $20.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Environment: On-site, Fast-paced, Noisy, Odours, Wet/damp

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervise 1 to 2 people
• Supervise 3 to 4 people
