Our client is seeking a dedicated Long Haul Truck Driver with potential immigration support for qualified applicants. This position is ideal for both local and international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Salary: $36.50 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle and oversee condition
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Record cargo information and oversee aspects of the vehicle

Credentials

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Experience and Specialization

• Type of Trucking: Tractor-trailer
• Communication Systems Experience: Operate GPS and navigation equipment
• Transportation/Travel Experience: International, Long-haul, and Regional

Additional Information

• Valid driver’s license required
• Willing to travel cross-border and internationally
• Physically demanding with attention to detail
• Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 45 kg)
