Responsibilities

Tasks

• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo

Credentials

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
