Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Child Care Provider to work in a private home environment. This position is open to all candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Burnaby, BC
• Salary: $19.00 per hour
• Work Hours: 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Special Commitments: Day, Morning shifts
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Change diapers and sterilize bottles
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: Will train; client focus and patience are essential
• Languages: English

Work Environment

• Employer’s home; non-smoking environment
• Option for live-in accommodation available at no charge
• Public transportation is available
