Our client is seeking a Cook to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Caledon Village, ON
• Salary: $34.10 to $36.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in food preparation and handling
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize buffets and banquets
• Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
