Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position to oversee the operations at their location in Edmonton, AB. This role includes opportunities for immigration support, making it suitable for international candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
• Establish work schedules.

Supervision Responsibilities

• Supervise 1 to 2 staff members.
• Supervise a team of 3-4 people including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.

Employment Details

• Salary: $23.08 per hour
• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Workplace Information: On-site
• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
• English language proficiency required.
